OfflineKITCHEN HELP WANTED! I need help guys. I can't be expected to feed everyone myself. We can't access any kind of funds, and I'm the only one on kitchen right now. Let's make this a team effort. I'm going to call the fire marshall and have them tell me what's allowed as far a open flame, burners, hot plates etc.. and I'm going to get in contact with a bunch of local business to see if anyone can donate. – if I can't find any food for us, bring a couple of bucks for food or a sandwich. I will out of my own pocket buy tons of water for us. -other then that I cannot afford to feed over 50 people that day. When I was at OWS this is what I saw in the kitchen those 2 days: A giant box of granola and protein bars, water, coffee, someone had cooked a small pot of tofu and rice from their own home, and a few loafs of pumpkin bread. That's it. I think at this point in time to get all the means to set up an elaborate kitchen that might get torn down immediately would be foolish. My plan is to just have something ready for the 12th and following morning and then after that assess the situation, how many people we have and then game plan from there.

OfflineHey MK!! It looks like right now we need: Air pots for hot coffee and tea, jugs of water or bottled water, Coffee grounds, tea, paper plates and bowls, plastic forks (or maybe everyone should just bring their own fork and spoon and we can wash them there) bag of oranges or apples (fruit would be nice) cream cheese, jelly. FOR DINNER ON THE 12th: I'll make spaghetti for us at my house no prob I'll take care of that if we want anything to go with that like meat balls, bread or a salad you'll have to donate it ( i can probably find us some free bread and I have a couple sticks of butter in the fridge)

I am bringing dinner tomorrow 11/14 chicken and rice and either salad or green beans and a fruit salad. I will also volunteer to bring a large meal for everyone over next weekend. I can probably do a large meal twice a week. Maybe some of the people reading this could just pick a night and volunteer to bring dinner. I will volunteer to keep track of this.
