Ideas for activities once we arrive at encampment: Free form soapbox for new members, awesome foods (we will see what we can do as far as donated food from local businesses, but to be safe we should also make it a pot luck), music, supplies for making signs, information table (with handouts and whatever else we can think of)- what do you guys think?? What do you want to see on encampment day?? What will our new people need??

can someone make a banner like this for the encampment?
Here are what encampment/logistics working group discussed tonight: after soapbox, which MK will facilitate, there will be a GA, then several workshops, one of which will be nonviolent civil disobedience. There will also be music & drumming, all acoustic. At the beginning of encampment OWNC will set up a kitchen, medical area, information table, media center & GA area. A map of the encampment will be posted soon.
INFORMATION TABLE: copies of field manual, signup sheet for volunteers, information of issues OWS/OWNC are addressing -- bank bailouts & criminal activity/home foreclosures/student loans/government by corporations etc… (we need people to collect & copy information sheets on each issue)
